NOEL PLEMMONS
Choreographer/Dancer

Noel stumbled into dance by accident during his third year studying anthropology at UC Berkeley. His beginning modern instructor inspired Noel to keep dancing regardless of his lack of training. The seed was planted, and after a few years trying to impress his parents as a corporate drone, Noel went back to dancing and made it a full-time passion. He moved to San Francisco and started taking dance class with the notorious Lizz Roman, where he learned unprecedented skills in partnering, inversion and release. After a year of stalking Roman's every dance class, he was invited into the company and worked with Roman for three years before moving to Portland. Noel is honored to have worked during his tenure in San Francisco with Erin Mei-Ling Stuart of EmSpace Dance, Manuelito Biag of Shift Physical Theater, Yannis Adoniou and Company Mécanique, and Jenny McAllister of Huckabay McAllister Dance. He's also recently found his way into the Portland dance community and is thrilled to be currently working with Oslund + Co and tEEth.
